I am not done with Trim. Besides the cathedral with its Trollopian politics (see I’m a Believer?) two famous people lived just outside, on the road to Summerhill. Indeed my sister and brother-in-law live on that road too.

This is a sambhur. It seems to be taking an intelligent interest in the photo-shoot. When the Ooty (Ootacamund) Hunt was formed in 1835 it was their quarry.

Lead In Your Pencil

source This is a picture of miners in festive dress outside a graphite mine in Český Krumlov. I did not know that graphite is mined and I did think that it was used in pencils but only about 1% is.
