Oh Gee, Oh Joy!

That falcon chick is most contrary. On the first day we are allowed to go inside it came outside its nest box yesterday to enjoy the rain.

Today is going to be an exciting one and probably most alarming for its parents. It’s hoped to ring the chick. I suppose this will be done by an abseiler. I’d always wondered how the chicks are ringed and soon I will know.

This is the first year the wisteria has flowered properly. It’s not fully out but the signs are very promising. Floribunda Alba is living up to its name after five years.

Bertie and Plum.

I’m celebrating the lifting of restrictions today with a walk across the parks to St James’s for lunch – oh gee, oh joy!

  1. Hi Christopher,

I hope you are well. I have recently acquired the portrait of Lady Frances Brudenell, who I noticed you wrote a blog post about (Naughty Frances) and I was wondering if you would be interested to see it? I’d be more than happy to send over an image and information if you would be interested, please just get in touch via my email peter@phfa.co.uk

    Best wishes,

    Peter
