Javea is bounded by two national parks; both are a little far to get to on foot from the Parador but the walks from the hotel are pretty good.
Yesterday I walked along the coast, then up over a headland and dropped down to a bay. A bar was open and the receptionist had photocopied The Times crossword for me. So, with legs and mind stretched and thirst slaked I was ready to retrace my steps. Here is what I saw.
